After getting into one too many fights at school, 17-year-old Fatima finds the one place where she can punch as hard as she wants ― the boxing ring.

Fatima overcomes the loss of her mother, who abandoned her in the streets of Mexico as a little girl, and becomes a mentor for other vulnerable girls. Fatima's coach Johnnie shows her that being a fighter is not just about boxing, it's about life.
